You get door to door service - we get it to your final destination safe and sound.  Another benefit of choosing Reid Removals is you don’t just get a pick-up date, you get a delivery date as well.  This is a huge thing when moving and surprisingly often overlooked.  What happens if you don’t get a delivery date?  Well often people book in with a removalist only to find that whilst the run was going in that direction for collection, the run for delivery won’t be anywhere near your preferred time frame, leaving your goods sitting in a depot far from where you intend to be.  So for a smooth move we give you a pick-up and delivery date so you know when it’s leaving and when to expect it to arrive.  This takes the guesswork out of scheduling for you, making for a smoother move overall.

How are we going to care for your precious belongings?

Peter has 38 years experience in the removal business and he understands the anxiety you can experience when needing to transport your belongings from one location to another;  after all, we specialise in antique and new furniture removal, we appreciate the importance of planning, care and attention to detail.  To that end we have customised our processes and trained our staff to take the utmost of care in handling your items.

Here are just some of the details on the lengths we go to, to ensure your goods are safe travelers:

We use heavy duty plastic bags over all fabric covered items, and remove them on delivery of your goods.  This provides protection against dust for any allergy sufferers.

We ensure we wrap each item individually with our furniture pads whether it is going around the corner, interstate or into storage.

What is our capacity?

Having recently moved to much larger premises, we can take care of your storage regardless of size, and when it comes to duration we offer long term or short-term solutions to meet your needs.  We also have space to store your caravan, boat, motorcycle or car. 

And what about those with a green thumb?  We haven’ forgotten you! We can certainly appreciate that a move of all your belongings may very well include much loved plants.  At Reid’s we can look after your plants whilst in storage, popping them under shade-cloth and watering every few days, at NO extra charge.

What About Storage Options?

At Reid Removals we also offer storage solutions, catering for a variety of sizes and needs.  So if you’re move is going to be in stages, then we can store your items until you are ready to have them transported on to its next destination.  The two forms of storage we have are:  containers which hold a normal household of furniture, and timber storage modules which are suited to a small amount of home storage.  All containers are water-tight and weather-proof, and have pest control done regularly with checks completed by an external professional multiple times throughout the year to ensure your goods are protected.
