After many years of working in Shipping Container Logistics and Freight Management, both domestically and internationally from the late 1990’s, a friend of the directors approached him about moving interstate. The move was relocating from Perth, Western Australia to Melbourne, Victoria in 2011. With a fleet of shipping containers on hand in Perth they spoke about packing one of the containers and transporting it via Rail, which he did on a regular basis with other domestic consignments. He also encouraged his friend to obtain several quotes from Interstate Removalists to compare the cost. After comparing the cost with the traditional removalist methods, it was clear that we were onto something big. The saving for packing a container and transporting it via road and rail was over 60%!
